Role Overview
We are looking for an AI Developer to design, build, and scale LLM-powered chatbot systems for real-world enterprise use cases. The role involves working hands-on with Large Language Models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and backend integration to deliver reliable, production-grade conversational AI solutions.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, data engineers, and frontend teams to translate business requirements into intelligent, scalable AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop LLM-based chatbots and conversational AI systems
- Implement RAG pipelines using vector databases for document and knowledge retrieval
- Perform prompt engineering and prompt optimization for accuracy, safety, and performance
- Integrate LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, open-source models, etc.) with backend services
- Build and maintain chatbot APIs using Python (FastAPI / Flask) or equivalent frameworks
- Optimize model latency, cost, and reliability for production deployment
- Implement conversation memory, context management, and multi-turn dialogue handling
- Apply basic LLM evaluation techniques (hallucination detection, response quality checks)
- Work with frontend teams to integrate chat interfaces (web or mobile)
- Ensure security, access control, and compliance when handling enterprise data
- Stay updated with advancements in LLMs, tooling, and AI best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama, Mistral, etc.)
- Experience building chatbots or conversational AI systems
- Solid understanding of:
- Prompt engineering
- Token limits, context windows
- Hallucination issues and mitigation strategies
- Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma, Weaviate, etc.)
- Familiarity with embeddings and semantic search
- Experience building APIs using FastAPI / Flask
- Understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Working knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows
