AI Content & Social Media Strategist

- Days and timings: 5 days a week (Sat and Sun – week off) / 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM (UK Shift)

Role Overview:
At Allied, we are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Content Strategist who can transform raw ideas, short concepts, voice notes, or leadership inputs into engaging, platform-specific social media content. This role will play a key part in strengthening Allied’s digital presence and brand visibility across platforms such as LinkedIn, X, and Instagram.
The role will directly contribute to visibility, engagement, brand authority, audience growth, and commercial impact through high-quality, consistent, and strategic content. The ideal candidate should understand that each platform requires a different communication style, audience approach, and content strategy. They should be capable of adapting the same core message into multiple formats that maximise engagement, reach, and audience impact.
The candidate should also have strong knowledge of social media trends, audience behaviour, keyword optimisation, hooks, hashtags, storytelling, and AI-assisted content creation. This role requires someone who can think strategically, write creatively, and contribute toward building Allied’s brand authority and online growth. The person will closely work with leadership and internal teams to ensure content aligns with Allied’s voice, business objectives, and target audience across different regions and industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert leadership inputs, short concepts, voice notes, and rough ideas into high-quality social media content.
- Work closely and directly with the founder to capture ideas, conversations, and insights, and transform them into structured, engaging, and publish-ready content.
- Translate founder discussions and thought processes into clear narratives that align with Allied’s brand voice and business objectives.
- Create platform-specific content for LinkedIn, X, and Instagram by adapting tone, structure, keywords, and formatting based on the target audience.
- Develop engaging LinkedIn posts, Twitter/X threads, Instagram captions, carousel content, and short-form content ideas.
- Research industry trends, hashtags, audience behaviour, and competitor content to improve reach and engagement.
- Create compelling hooks, captions, and call-to-actions to increase visibility and audience interaction.
- Maintain consistency in Allied’s brand voice, messaging, and professional image across all social media platforms.
- Collaborate closely with the founder and internal teams to understand content intent and convert it into impactful social media narratives.
- Plan and manage content calendars and posting schedules.
- Monitor social media performance metrics such as impressions, engagement, reach, and audience growth, and suggest improvements based on insights.
- Repurpose existing content into multiple formats suitable for different platforms.
- Utilise AI and content creation tools effectively to improve content quality, efficiency, and creativity.
- Coordinate with design or creative teams for visual content requirements when needed.
- Stay updated with platform algorithm changes, emerging social media trends, and digital marketing best practices.
- Support Allied’s employer branding, marketing initiatives, and digital growth strategies through content-driven engagement.
Skills & Experience
- Excellent writing and copywriting skills in English
- Strong ability to convert ideas, conversations, and rough inputs into structured social media content.
- Good understanding of content styles across LinkedIn, X, and Instagram
- Strong storytelling, hook writing, and audience engagement skills
- Knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, and basic content SEO
- Ability to repurpose one idea into multiple platform-specific formats
- Strong ability to use AI tools for content creation, ideation, rewriting, editing, and improving engagement quality
- Familiarity with prompt writing and using AI to generate variations of content while maintaining brand voice
- Basic understanding of analytics and performance tracking
- 1–4 years of experience in content writing, social media, digital marketing, or personal branding (preferred)
- Experience working with founders or personal brand accounts is a strong plus
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, Notion, Buffer, or Hootsuite is preferred
- Strong communication, creativity, ownership, and ability to work directly with leadership
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, idea-driven environment.
