Hiring Brief — AI Computer Vision Engineer (Industrial Vision Systems)

We’re building an AI-powered monitoring and analytics platform for a large-scale brewery production environment. The system will use computer vision, action recognition, and real-time video analytics to monitor production lines, detect abnormal interactions, improve operational visibility, and reduce inventory shrinkage.

We are looking for a highly capable engineer (or small founding team) with experience in industrial AI systems, real-time video inference, and computer vision deployment.

Location: New Delhi / Hybrid / Remote

Industry: Industrial Automation + AI + Manufacturing

About The Project

We are developing a real-time AI monitoring platform integrated into brewery operations and production lines.

The system will:

• Monitor conveyor and packaging lines
• Detect objects such as bottles, crates, cartons, and workers
• Track worker interactions with production lines
• Detect abnormal or unauthorized actions
• Generate event logs and video clips
• Integrate with inventory and operational workflows
• Eventually evolve into a broader “Smart Brewery Operating System”

The platform will combine:

• Computer vision
• Object tracking

Core Responsibilities

• Build and deploy real-time computer vision pipelines
• Develop object detection and tracking systems
• Train custom AI models on industrial video data
• Create action-recognition workflows for production environments
• Build edge inference systems connected to CCTV/IP camera feeds
• Optimize inference latency and GPU performance
• Develop event-based logic systems and alerting pipelines
• Collaborate on production analytics and dashboard workflows
• Work with annotated datasets and video labeling pipelines
• Deploy scalable AI systems for 24/7 industrial usage

Required Skills

Computer Vision

Strong experience with:

• YOLO (v8/v11 preferred)
• OpenCV
• Object detection
• Object tracking
• Pose estimation
• Action recognition

Experience with:

• ByteTrack / DeepSORT
• MediaPipe / OpenPose
• MMAction2
• Detectron2 (bonus)

AI / ML Stack

Must understand:

• PyTorch
• Model training pipelines
• Transfer learning
• Dataset preparation
• Annotation workflows
• GPU optimization
• Real-time inference

Bonus:

Video Infrastructure

Experience with:

• RTSP camera streams
• CCTV/IP camera systems

Backend & Systems

• Python
• FastAPI
• Redis / Kafka
• PostgreSQL
• Docker
• Linux deployment

Frontend / Visualization (Bonus)
