About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Content Writer to join our content development team. This role focuses on designing detailed curricula and educational blueprints for Microsoft certification courses by leveraging Microsoft's official learning paths. The ideal candidate is not only a strong writer but also adept at instructional design and visual storytelling using Canva. Key Responsibilities · Curriculum Development: Create comprehensive blueprints and detailed course outlines for Microsoft certification and skill-building programs. · Content Structuring: Convert Microsoft's learning paths into structured, learner-friendly formats aligned with certification requirements. · Instructional Writing: Develop engaging written content such as module descriptions, lesson overviews, outcomes, and instructor notes. · Visual Content Creation: Design compelling visual assets (e.g., infographics, flowcharts, slides) using Canva to complement written material. · Collaborative Planning: Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), instructional designers, and product leads to ensure quality and relevance. · Content Optimization: Ensure alignment with industry trends, Microsoft updates, and best practices in adult learning and instructional design. · Quality Control: Review and revise content to maintain clarity, consistency, and educational effectiveness. Required Qualifications · Proven experience in curriculum writing, especially for technical or IT-related subjects. · Familiarity with Microsoft's Learning Paths, Microsoft Learn, or Microsoft certifications (such as Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, etc.). · Strong skills in Canva for designing slides, curriculum visualizations, and digital learning materials. · Excellent written communication and storytelling skills. · Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, digestible content for diverse learner audiences. · Attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple content creation tasks simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications · Background in instructional design, education technology, or technical writing. · Previous experience writing or curating Microsoft-based learning material or certification prep content. · Understanding of adult learning principles and blended learning methodologies.
