The Role :
Most companies will hand you a Jira ticket and ask you to move it to "Done." We'll hand you a problem and ask you to ship a product.
We're hiring AI Builders — people who use AI and LLM APIs not as toys, but as engineering teammates. People who can go from "here's a messy problem" to "here's a deployed, working solution" in days. You'll sit in the product team, work on products that touch hundreds of thousands of students, and build things that didn't exist yesterday.
This isn't a "learn on the job" internship. This is: you build, we ship, students benefit. Day one.
3-month internship with conversion to full-time (PPO) based on performance.
About Cuemath
Cuemath is one of the world's leading math learning platforms — live 1:1 tutoring, AI-powered adaptive practice, and diagnostics built on real learning science. Over 200,000 students across 80+ countries have learned with us.
Now we're going further. We're building AI-native products across subjects and formats — think spaced repetition engines, AI tutors, intelligent content systems, and tools that make world-class education accessible at scale. The tech stack is modern. The problems are hard. The team is small and fast. We're not building another chatbot wrapper. We're building the future of how humans learn.
What You'll Build
This is real work, not busywork
- AI-powered products — intelligent dashboards, automation pipelines, student-facing tools that use LLMs, speech APIs, and real-time data
- End-to-end ownership — you don't just write code. You understand the problem, design the solution, build it, deploy it, and make it work in production
- Ship every week — working software, not slide decks. Deployed, live, real users
- Cutting-edge AI tooling — AI and LLM APIs, voice AI, computer vision — whatever the problem needs
- Direct product team projects — high-visibility, high-impact work that shapes company strategy
What You'll Work With :
You'll work across the full stack — frontend, backend, databases, APIs, and integrations. The specific tools don't matter as much as your ability to pick the right one for the job and ship f
ast.Areas you'll touch: AI and LLM APIs, frontend and backend development, databases, payments, communications and messaging integrations, CLIs, and deployment. No fixed tech stack. The right tool for the right job. You pick, you justify, you ship
What We're Looking For
- You've already built something. Not for a college assignment — for yourself, for users, for fun. A side project, a bot, a dashboard, an app. Something that exists and works. If you have a GitHub full of projects and a deployed link in your bio, you're our kind of person.
- AI is already in your workflow. You don't just "know about" AI tools. You've used AI and LLM APIs to build real things — and you can tell us exactly what, how, and what you learned.
- You think in products, not features. Who's using this? Why? What's the experience like? You care about the whole picture — not just whether the code compiles
- You communicate like an engineer. Clear, concise, opinionated. You can explain your technical choices, defend your tradeoffs, and write documentation that others can actually follow
- You're fast and unafraid. You don't wait for perfect requirements. You prototype, test, break things, fix them, and ship. Speed with taste
Green Flags
- Anthropic certification courses completed
- Anthropic CCA-F exam cleared
- First-time founders who've shipped an AI-first product
Who This Is For
- Fresh graduates or recent grads (0-2 years experience)
- Any branch — CS, design, data science, even liberal arts. We don't filter on degrees. We filter on what you've built.
- Based in Gurgaon — this is a full-time, office-based role (5-day week )
The Hiring Process
No aptitude tests. No DSA rounds. No 6-round interview marathons. No "tell me about a time when...
- "Apply — Fill out a short form. Show us something you've built. Tell us how you think about products.
- Build — We send you a real problem statement. Pick one of three challenges. You have one week to build and deploy a working solution.
- Show — Submit a live deployed link, a short video walkthrough, and a brief write-up on your decisions and tradeoffs.
- Talk — A conversation about your build, your thinking, and what you'd ship next.
Your work is your resume. That's the whole process
What We Evaluate
- Does it actually work? Functional, deployed, demonstrable. Not a localhost screenshot — a live URL we can click
- Smart engineering choices? Every project has a thousand directions. Which tradeoffs did you make, and can you defend them ?
- Is it delightful? Does it feel good to use? Did you sweat the details — the loading states, the error messages, the tiny interactions that separate good from great?
- How does your mind work? What did you try first? What broke? What would you do differently with another week? We're hiring your thinking, not just your output
Why You Should Care
- Build with AI every day. AI and LLM APIs as your daily toolkit — not as a side experiment, but as how you actually work.
- Ship products that matter. Your work reaches hundreds of thousands of students. That's not a line in a JD — that's Tuesday.
- Work directly with the product team. No layers. No managers-of-managers. Direct line to strategy and impact.
- Learn at startup speed in a company with scale. Small team energy, real user base, real data, real problems
- 3-month internship → full-time (PPO). Prove yourself and earn a permanent seat. No multi-year commitment required upfront — but the path to one is clear.
