COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Nextera Labs is an AI-focused EdTech startup, dedicated to equipping Class 11-12 students in India with practical AI skills through a 6-week hands-on program.
Students don't just learn about AI — they build with it. They construct real-world tools including a Personal AI Research Assistant, an Automated Insights Pipeline, and a live Capstone Project, all presented on Demo Day.
Our focus is simple: building capability, not just teaching content. We prepare students for the future by closing the gap between what school teaches and what the world requires.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is a part-time, fully remote role for a Weekend AI Builder Educator at Nextera Labs.
You will guide Class 11-12 students — most with zero coding background — through a structured 6-week program where they build and deploy real AI tools from scratch.
This is not a lecture role. This is hands-on, project-based mentoring where your job is to make sure every student ships something real.
Schedule: Saturday + Sunday | 2–3 hours per session | Fully remote
What you will teach:
• Week 1-2: First-principles thinking, AI fluency, and how LLMs actually work
• Week 3: Research methodology — finding signal in noise and synthesizing data
• Week 4: Hands-on building — deploying a Personal AI Research Assistant and Automated Insights Pipeline
• Week 5-6: Communication, capstone presentation, and live Demo Day
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
• Hands-on experience building real AI projects using Python and tools such as OpenAI API, LangChain, or Streamlit — GitHub link or deployed project required
• Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and LLM architecture
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to a 16-year-old with zero coding background
• Comfortable with first-principles teaching — breaking problems down, not just delivering information
• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field
• Available every Saturday and Sunday — non-negotiable
Strong Advantage:
• Experience teaching, tutoring, or mentoring students in any capacity
• Has built and deployed AI tools independently (not just tutorial projects)
• Familiar with research methodology and technical writing
• Previous experience in project-based or curriculum-based learning environments
HOW TO APPLY
