Head of AI Operations (VC Platform & Automation) | Remote | MST Hours
About the Role
We’re hiring a highly capable Head of AI Operations to build and scale the AI operating layer of a modern venture capital firm.
This is a hands-on role focused on:
- AI workflow automation
- Internal tooling
- CRM intelligence
- Operational systems
- AI adoption & governance
You’ll work across venture operations, deal flow, portfolio enablement, and internal workflows — building practical AI solutions that improve speed, decision-making, and operational efficiency.

Work Setup
🌍 Remote
🕘 US Mountain Standard Time (MST): 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
🇮🇳 India Shift: 9:30 PM – 6:30 AM IST (subject to daylight savings)
What You’ll Do
- Build and deploy AI-powered workflows, automations, dashboards, and lightweight internal tools
- Improve workflows across:
- Deal sourcing
- Due diligence
- Founder communication
- Research
- Internal reporting
- Meeting intelligence
- Integrate AI outputs into systems like Affinity CRM, Monday.com, and internal workflows
- Partner with the Sales Ops function on AI-assisted HubSpot workflows and integrations
- Evaluate AI tools, vendors, and workflows using structured testing frameworks
- Create prompt libraries, workflow documentation, and reusable AI templates
- Build AI operations dashboards tracking adoption, ROI, efficiency, and workflow performance
- Support AI-related portfolio initiatives and founder enablement

What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience with AI tools, automation, and workflow systems
- Experience building and deploying AI workflows end-to-end
- Strong systems thinking and operational problem-solving ability
- Familiarity with venture capital, startup operations, deal flow, or pipeline management workflows
- Experience with CRM systems, automations, APIs, and operational tooling
- Comfortable prototyping solutions without heavy engineering support
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
