About the GTM Role (Go‑to‑Market Role)
A GTM role at GoZen typically owns the strategy and execution behind how GoZen’s products are launched and scaled to market. This includes:
- Defining target segments, ICPs, personas, and positioning for each product or feature.
- Designing and running launch plans across marketing, sales, and product (messaging, campaigns, sequencing, etc.).
- Coordinating cross‑functional teams (marketing, sales, product, support) to ensure a smooth, aligned go‑to‑market process.
- Tracking key metrics such as pipeline, conversions, activation, and retention, and using data to optimize GTM motions.
- Creating sales and marketing enablement materials (pitch decks, battle cards, templates, case studies) to help teams communicate value effectively.
In short, the GTM person at GoZen owns the “how we sell and grow” story for a product or feature, turning product potential into real‑world adoption and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building and executing outbound and inbound GTM campaigns (email, LinkedIn, content, events, etc.).
- Support lead research and ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) mapping by identifying target accounts, personas, and triggers.
- Help set up or optimize GTM tools and workflows (e.g., email sequences, CRM, spreadsheets, tracking dashboards).
- Create and test high‑impact GTM copy for cold emails, LinkedIn messages, landing pages, and follow‑up sequences.
- Collect and analyze basic GTM metrics (open rate, reply rate, meeting rate, conversion) and share insights with the team.
- Coordinate with product, marketing, and sales to refine messaging and ensure alignment across GTM campaigns.
- Maintain documentation (campaign performance, ICPs, playbooks, and outreach templates) for future reference.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree (any field; preference for Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related).
- Basic understanding of B2B SaaS, growth, or outbound sales concepts.
- Availability for a fixed‑duration role (internship or full‑time) as per GoZen’s requirements.
- Comfort working in a remote or hybrid setup with structured communication.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast‑moving, early‑stage environment.
Key Skills
- Strong written English with the ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive GTM copy.
- Comfort with spreadsheets and data (e.g., Google Sheets / Excel) for tracking and basic analysis.
- Interest in or experience with cold email, LinkedIn outreach, and outbound campaigns.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn basic GTM and sales/marketing tools (email sequences, CRM, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Analytical mindset with interest in interpreting metrics and iterating based on results.
- Collaborative and proactive work style; comfortable working across marketing, sales, and product.
- Self‑driven, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks independently.
