Job Title: AI Architect
Location: Pune (Fully Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role:
We are looking for a hands-on AI Architect to build and scale our AI capabilities from the ground up. In the initial phase, you will actively design and develop AI systems, define architecture, and guide a small team. Over time, this role will evolve into a strategic leadership position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable AI/LLM architectures for client solutions
- Build and manage AI Gateway (routing, logging, cost control)
- Develop RAG-based knowledge retrieval systems
- Create reusable AI components (document processing, QA, retrieval)
- Define AI standards, best practices, and governance
- Mentor AI engineers and collaborate with Product & Solution teams
Core Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with LLM-based systems (APIs, chaining, error handling)
- Experience building RAG pipelines (embeddings, vector search, prompt handling)
- Experience with Claude or Gemini APIs
- Solid software engineering skills (APIs, architecture, version control)
- Experience with GitLab and CI/CD
- Willingness to be hands-on in development
Nice to Have:
- Snowflake (Vector Search, Cortex AI)
- Azure Document Intelligence or similar tools
- Experience with AI frameworks, reusable architectures, or agentic workflows
- Node.js / .NET development experience
