About Skedara
Skedara builds and supports trading and risk management (ETRM) systems for energy companies in Europe and Beyond. We work inside platforms used by Fortune 500 clients to trade power, gas, and commodities.
We are building AI applications inside these client environments — automating operational work, surfacing intelligence, reducing the load on trading and operations teams. We need a senior AI Architect to lead the technical direction of this work.
What You'll Do
• Set the technical direction for AI applications at Skedara — architecture patterns, technology choices, engineering standards
• Lead the AI development team — design reviews, technical decisions, delivery quality
• Architect the more complex use cases — multi-agent systems, advanced RAG, enterprise integrations using MCP.
• Enforce deterministic governance using Risk Agents to prevent hallucinations and protect commercial margins in pricing and negotiation.
• Represent Skedara as the senior AI voice in client conversations
• Build and grow the AI team — capability assessment, mentoring, hiring
What You Should Have
• 12-15 years of software engineering experience
• 4+ years architecting and shipping AI/ML systems at enterprise scale
• Track record of leading AI engineering teams
• Strong hands-on background in Python, LLM-based systems, multi-agent architectures, RAG, evaluation, guardrails
• Experience with cloud-native architecture and modern data engineering
• Experience presenting AI work to senior business and technical stakeholders
