Your Opportunity
As an AI Agent Developer on BeGig, you’ll work on freelance projects focused on designing and building intelligent AI agents that can plan, reason, and take actions across tools, systems, and workflows. You’ll help teams move beyond simple chatbots to autonomous AI-powered solutions—without the constraints of a traditional full-time role.
What You’ll Do
- Design and build AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, and executing tasks
- Develop agent workflows that interact with APIs, tools, and databases
- Implement multi-step reasoning, task decomposition, and tool usage
- Build memory and context management for long-running agents
- Integrate agents with enterprise systems, SaaS platforms, and data sources
- Optimize agent performance, reliability, and cost
- Implement monitoring, evaluation, and guardrails for agent behavior
- Deploy and maintain agent-based applications in production
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop agent-powered features
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience with LLM-based agent development
- Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar
- Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript
- Experience integrating APIs, tools, and external services into AI workflows
- Familiarity with vector databases, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering
- Understanding of agent orchestration, memory systems, and evaluation techniques
- Experience deploying AI systems into production environments
- Strong problem-solving and experimentation skills
- A self-driven freelancer who can independently build and deliver AI agent solutions
