About the role

Summary

The Graphics Manager leads the development and execution of strategic visual content in support of Proposals & Pricing, Business Development (BD), and Capture teams. This role focuses on translating complex technical, operational, and mission-driven concepts into clear, compelling visual narratives that strengthen proposal competitiveness, customer alignment, and corporate messaging.

The salary range for this position is $107,262-$133,545 per year.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides day-to-day direction and mentorship to graphic design resources, establishing standards for visual consistency, quality, and alignment with corporate branding and proposal requirements.
  • Serves as the primary interface between Proposal & Pricing leadership, BD, Capture, and graphic design resources to translate proposal and opportunity requirements into effective visual solutions
  • Leads the conceptual development of graphics, covers, and visual themes for proposal, capture, and BD initiatives, ensuring alignment with customer missions, solicitation requirements, company capabilities, and opportunity-specific strategies
  • Analyzes opportunity materials (RFPs, RFIs, Sources Sought) to identify customer objectives and drive visual storytelling strategies that reinforce positioning.
  • Translates complex service offerings into clear process flows, infographics, and visuals.
  • Participates in cross-functional planning sessions to align visuals with win themes, customer priorities, and competitive positioning.
  • Ensures all deliverables meet quality, branding, and timeline expectations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Supports corporate and marketing initiatives as needed, consistent with proposal priorities.
  • Establishes and maintains visual frameworks, templates, and reusable assets to improve efficiency and consistency across deliverables.
  • Participates in proposal meetings as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Supervision

Provides supervision and direction to Graphic Artist.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field.
    • Education may be substituted for experience on a 1:1 basis.
  • Six (6) years of experience developing visual communications in a business, consulting, or federal environment, with demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into clear graphics.
  • Experience supporting business development, capture, or executive communications in a federal or mission-driven environment.
  • Proven experience leading or coordinating design efforts across multiple stakeholders, proposal teams, or functional groups.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, and Word, with strong emphasis on presentation design and document layout.
  • U.S. Citizenship.

       

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Experience using SharePoint or similar collaboration platforms in a proposal or business support environment.
      • Working knowledge of Visio, Publisher, or other process-mapping and visual documentation tools.
      • Demonstrated ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven proposal environment with competing priorities.
      • Experience and knowledge of Alaska Native cultures.

        Physical Demands

        Frequent sitting, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing, and seeing (up close, at a distance, along the periphery, with depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus), occasional walking or standing, occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.
