Job Description:

AHRC NYC is holding a HIRING EVENT with ON THE SPOT JOB OFFERS! for Full and Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for their Bronx ICF residence.

PAY RATE: $20.60 - 20.96 per hour depending on driving status. In addition, this position comes with a comprehensive Benefit package which includes FREE MEDICAL INSURANCE! See below for additional Benefit information.        

DATE & TIME: THURSDAY JANUARY 8th from 10AM-1PM

LOCATION: Hiring event is by invite only! Recruiter will provide specific address to qualified candidates.

POSITIONS TO BE FILLED:

Full-time 40hrs: Mon/Tues/Fri/Sat 2pm-10pm & Sun 8am-4pm.

Full-Time 40hrs: Weds-Sat 2pm-10pm & Sun 8am-4pm

Part-Time 30hrs: Mon-Tues 3pm-10pm & Sat. 8am-4pm & Sun 2pm-10pm.

Part-Time 20hrs (3): Fri & Sun 3pm-10pm &Sat 8am-2pm....No Benefits!

Driver license and Weekend availability Required for all positions!!

  • The oversight of all safety and health considerations

Qualifications:
  • Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
  • Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills. Patience is a MUST!
  • Willingness to support people's preferences for community, activities, work, leisure activities, the exercise of their rights etc. in various settings.
  • Ability to use a computer for data entry.
  • High school education/GED, highly preferred.
