Implementation Scientist (Professor of Practice)

Ahmedabad University invites applications and nominations for an Implementation Scientist (Professor of Practice) position at the Bagchi School of Public Health. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic leader to develop, implement, and evaluate initiatives that promote health and environmental sustainability. Key Responsibilities · To lead implementation research projects at the Bagchi School of Public Health and Sahyog. · To contribute to developing, implementing, and evaluating initiatives that promote health and environmental sustainability. · To procure funding, and lead research programmes. · To serve as a liaison between different entities and to build coalitions. · To develop training programmes for health promotion for grassroots workers and other audiences, and a course in implementation research for the University. Qualifications • Pertinent training and expertise in public health and community medicine/community outreach. PhD or equivalent degree in a key public health discipline will be an additional plus. • Good track record of procuring external funding, and leading and implementing impactful research projects. • Experience teaching and conducting training.
