This is a full-time position with 1st shift hours. Weekend availability is required. This position is eligible for discounted downtown parking, free employee meals, hotel and restaurant discounts and more. 

 

SUMMARY:

 

The room attendant is a key individual in achieving the quality standards of guest rooms to ensure guest satisfaction. The room attendant must ensure that each room meets a 96% quality expectation in a timely manner. They must also ensure all service standards for a 4 diamond property is met as well as budgetary goals and interdepartmental relations.
  

REQUIREMENTS
•    Bend, stoop, stand, and walk long distances for the duration of the shift
•    Be able to lift at least 50lbs
•    Must be reliable; willing to work weekends and holidays
•    Must be able to complete 12-16 vacant dirty room with-in 8 hour shift  o    12-16 showers
o    12-16 tubs
o    12-16 toilets
o    12-24 beds   


•    Able to use different types of chemicals
•    Requires the ability to work independently and follow directions as assigned by supervisors
•    Must be able to complete standards according to established procedures
•    Strive to meet guest satisfaction by cleaning at a 96% cleanliness standard
•    Must keep cart clear of unapproved items to avoid damage
  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•    Clean all areas of the guest room as determined by the 47 step training outline
•    Clean checkouts at a 36 minute per room pace
•    Clean stayovers at a 25 minute per room pace
•    Deliver all guest requests within 15 minutes
•    Work independently, in assigned section, to complete the daily assignment which can range up to 19 rooms per shift.
•    Report maintenance issues in rooms to AYS and floor supervisor
•    Communicate effectively with floor supervisors and housemen on needs and progress
•    Perform any other tasks as assigned by the floor supervisor

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 
•    High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Related experience required.
