We are looking for a hands-on Agronomist to support dairy farming operations at Chaksu, Jaipur. This is a dual-function role covering both production and marketing, suited for someone who understands the full farm-to-market cycle.
Key responsibilities
Production
- Oversee fodder cultivation, crop planning, and soil health management
- Manage feed quality and seasonal cropping cycles for the Jaipur region
- Monitor and improve yield efficiency through agronomy best practices
- Coordinate with farm staff to ensure timely production execution
Marketing support
- Support market linkages for dairy produce and by-products
- Provide technical inputs for product positioning and buyer negotiations
- Align production output with market demand in coordination with sales teams
Requirements
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Agriculture, Agronomy, Animal Husbandry, or related field
- 5+years of experience in farm management or dairy agronomy
- Prior exposure to dairy farming systems strongly preferred
- Comfortable in a field-heavy role; strong communication skills
- Based in or willing to relocate to Jaipur (Chaksu)
