Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Agronomist role based in Gujarat, India. The Agronomist will be responsible for conducting soil and crop assessments, guiding farmers on sustainable farming practices, and developing tailored agronomy strategies. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating soil health, implementing effective irrigation plans, designing plant nutrition programs, and conducting agricultural research. The role also involves collaborating with farmers to promote residue-free farming methods and providing ongoing support to improve agricultural productivity.

Qualifications

• Understanding and expertise in Soil Science and agricultural systems
• Strong knowledge of Agriculture and Irrigation methodologies
• Ability to conduct Research and apply findings to real-world agricultural scenarios
• Proficiency in developing and implementing Plant Nutrition solutions
• Excellent communication skills for farmer engagement and technical support
• Ability to work in an on-site, field-based environment
• A degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, Agricultural Science, or a related field
• Practical experience in residue-free or sustainable farming practices is an advantage
• Fluency in the local language of Gujarat is a plus
