Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Agronomist based in Nagpur. While the role requires regular on-site work, some responsibilities can be completed remotely. The Agronomist will focus on soil science analysis, developing sustainable farming solutions, irrigation system optimization, plant nutrition strategies, and conducting agricultural research. Additional tasks include collaborating directly with farmers to implement best practices and supporting their transition to non-toxic and resilient farming techniques.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding and practical knowledge of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition
• Experience in Agriculture and Irrigation system design and management
• Proven ability to conduct agricultural Research and apply findings to solve real-world farming challenges
• Excellent problem-solving skills along with clear verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to work effectively both on-site and remotely, with experience in community engagement or working with farmers
• Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Environmental Science, or a related field
