Overseeing 30 – 50 Acres of Farmland | Daily Operations | Farm Improvement | MIS Reporting
Role Purpose
The Agriculture Supervisor is responsible for the end-to-end management of a 30-acre farmland. The role balances physical field supervision with data-driven management, ensuring daily productivity, continuous land improvement, and accurate reporting to senior management.
Core Responsibilities
1. Daily Work & Labor Management
· Workflow Coordination: Direct daily activities including tilling, planting, irrigation, and harvesting.
· Labor Supervision: Manage field staff, ensuring efficient task completion and strict adherence to safety protocols.
· Health Scouting: Daily inspection of crops for pest infestations, disease, or nutrient deficiencies.
2. Farm Improvement & Infrastructure
· Infrastructure Maintenance: Regular checks and upgrades of irrigation systems, fencing, and farm machinery.
· Soil Health Initiatives: Implementation of crop rotation and organic enhancement programs to increase soil fertility.
· Yield Optimization: Researching and piloting new farming techniques to maximize the productivity of the 30-acre plot.
3. MIS Update & Management Reporting
· Data Entry: Daily logging of inputs (seeds, fertilizer, fuel) and labor hours into the MIS.
· Inventory Control: Monitoring stock levels to ensure zero downtime in operations.
· Management Reporting: Providing weekly summaries on yield forecasts, expense tracking, and operational challenges.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience : 3+ years in a supervisory role on a commercial farm.
Education : Degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in MIS software, MS Excel, and modern irrigation tech.
Leadership
Strong team management and communication skills.
Physicality
Ability to work outdoors and oversee 30 acres in various weather conditions.

· Yield Efficiency: Achievement of seasonal harvest targets.
· Data Accuracy: 100% compliance with daily MIS updates.
· Cost Control: Managing daily operations within the allocated budget.
