Role Description
MUST HAVE (Non-Negotiable)
1. Per Acre ROI Orientation (Critical)
Ability to present clear ₹ per acre profitability models
Detailed cost vs revenue projections and break-even timelines
Comparative analysis across multiple crop options
Strong commercial decision-making approach – Short, medium & long term
2. Government Subsidy Expertise (Mandatory)
In-depth knowledge of Central and Rajasthan-specific schemes, including:
Drip irrigation & micro-irrigation subsidies
Polyhouse/greenhouse subsidies
Crop insurance (PMFBY)
Farm mechanization schemes
Hands-on capability to execute applications, approvals, and disbursements of subsidies value
Ability to optimize subsidy utilization across projects
3. Strategic Crop Planning (Multi-Horizon Approach)
Capability to design a phased land utilization strategy:
Short-term: Cash flow crops
Medium-term: High-value vegetables/floriculture
Long-term: Orchards/plantation assets
Avoidance of generic, low-margin crop recommendations
4. Business & Market Acumen
Strong understanding of:
Market channels (mandis, exporters, direct/B2B buyers)
Demand trends and price cycles
Ability to align production with market-driven profitability
5. Proven Execution Experience
Demonstrated track record in on-ground farm development or transformation
Practical implementation capability (not purely advisory/academic)
Travel Requirement: The role requires regular on-ground involvement. Candidates must be comfortable traveling within a ~100 km radius from Jaipur for farm visits and project execution.
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Agribusiness Management / Agricultural Engineering required
