Role Description
This is a full-time position in Pune for an Agriculture Advisor. The Agriculture Advisor will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to farmers on agricultural practices, tools, crop protection, and sustainable techniques. The role includes conducting field visits, identifying challenges, recommending tailored solutions, and facilitating the adoption of new technologies and products in farming practices. The advisor will work closely with farmers to ensure optimal productivity and sustainability in their agricultural operations.
Qualifications
- B.Sc Agriculture / M.Sc Agriculture / Diploma in Agriculture or related field
- Strong understanding of crop management, soil health & farming practices
- Knowledge of modern agricultural technologies & AgriTech solutions
- Good communication and farmer engagement skills
- Ability to guide farmers on crop planning, fertilizers, pest management & irrigation
- Freshers with strong agriculture knowledge can also apply
- Experience in agri advisory, agri input, FPO, or AgriTech companies will be an added advantage
