Role Description
This is not a typical internship.
I am looking for someone who understands soil by touching it, not just in theory.
This is for an individual who is genuinely curious about organic farming, medicinal plants, and crop planning based on real-world conditions.
Role involves:
Conducting on-ground field visits (mandatory - atleast one)
Studying soil composition and health (basic testing or lab coordination)
Assessing water availability and irrigation feasibility
Understanding local conditions through observation and informal surveys
Identifying suitable crops (especially medicinal plants & household crops) based on seasonality and sustainability
Preparing a clear, practical, and actionable report with recommendations
Who can apply:
Someone with practical exposure to farming or agriculture (formal degree not mandatory)
Comfortable in suggesting new ideas wrt crop rotation
Has working knowledge of soil, crops, and seasonal patterns
- Can think beyond textbooks and apply ground reality to decision-making
- Able to convert observations into a structured, usable report
Loction:
Pune (field work required)
Duration:
1 month (field-oriented)
