Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad for an Agribusiness Development Manager. The role involves developing and managing business relationships with global suppliers, distributors, and buyers to optimize trade partnerships. The Manager will identify new market opportunities, analyze market trends, and execute strategic plans to boost business growth. Responsibilities include negotiating contracts, conducting supply chain assessments, monitoring product performance, and ensuring compliance with trade and agricultural regulations. The Manager will also be responsible for guaranteeing timely delivery of high-quality products and maintaining strong client relationships.
Qualifications
- Experience in business development, market research, negotiation, and trade relations within the agricultural or industrial sectors
- Knowledge of global sourcing, export-import regulations, supply chain management, and logistics
- Understanding of fertilizers, crop nutrition products, and agricultural inputs
- Strong communication, client management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency in data analysis, pricing strategies, and competitive market analysis
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities
- Relevant degree in agriculture, business management, international trade, or a related field
- Experience in the agricultural or fertigation industry will be a strong advantage
