We are hiring for Agri Commodity Research & Analytics Executive at SynVesCo Venture Pvt. Ltd.

Location: Gurgaon

Mode: On-site

Experience: 3–5 Years

Compensation: ₹7–12 LPA, depending on experience and fitment

We are looking for an Agri Commodity Research & Analytics Executive with 3–5 years of experience in the agri domain. This role requires a strong analytics focus (60–70%) along with a working understanding of agri market research (30–40%).

The ideal candidate should be able to combine data analytics, forecasting, and decision support with a solid understanding of agri commodity markets, supply-demand dynamics, and market intelligence to generate actionable business insights.

Key responsibilities:

Analytics & Decision Support

• Analyze agri commodity data across prices, arrivals, supply-demand, weather, crop cycles, and market trends
• Build and maintain analytical models, dashboards, trackers, and reports for business review
• Validate assumptions using statistical, mathematical, and logical analysis
• Work with multiple data sources to generate structured and reliable business recommendations
• Identify trends, anomalies, risks, and opportunities through data analysis
• Improve existing reporting processes, forecasting methodologies, and analytical frameworks
• Use tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, and BI platforms for analysis and decision support

Market Research & Intelligence

• Track domestic and international agri commodity markets, including prices, arrivals, crop conditions, production cycles, and stock positions
• Monitor supply-demand trends across regions, origins, and key consumption markets
• Track policy, regulatory, and trade developments impacting agri commodities
• Monitor logistics factors such as freight rates, port disruptions, and trade flow changes
• Support identification of supply risks, price opportunities, and market-moving events

Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and translate them into analytical outputs
• Ensure timely delivery, accuracy, consistency, and strong analytical recommendations

What we are looking for:

• 3–5 years of experience in the agri domain, preferably in commodity analytics, market research, business analytics, or market intelligence
• Strong analytical capability with hands-on experience in data interpretation and business insight generation
• Good understanding of agri commodity markets, supply-demand fundamentals, and commercial drivers
• Ability to work with structured and unstructured datasets from multiple sources
• Strong command of Excel; working knowledge of SQL, Python, and BI tools is preferred
• Detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and capable of handling fast-moving market information
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex analysis into actionable insights

Preferred background:

• Experience in agri commodities, spices, herbals, or related agricultural value chains
• Exposure to forecasting, pricing analysis, procurement analytics, or commodity intelligence
• Familiarity with domestic and international commodity market dynamics
