Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Agri Advisor based in the Pune Division. The Agri Advisor will assist farmers in achieving better agricultural outcomes by providing expert advice on best practices, crop management, and resource optimization. Responsibilities include conducting field visits, offering personalized guidance to farmers, recommending suitable tools, machinery, and products, and staying updated on advances in agriculture technologies.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of crop management, soil health, and agricultural practices
- Expertise in agriculture tools, machinery, seeds, and agro-chemical recommendations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with farmers
- Analytical and problem-solving skills for customized agricultural solutions
- Ability to conduct field visits and interact with diverse farming communities
- Proficiency in regional languages and familiarity with the local agricultural market is a plus
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Science, or a related field
