We’re hiring a results-driven sales leader to grow BitRaser (data sanitization/data security software) across Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). The role focuses on driving pipeline and closures for our data erasure portfolio, navigating PSU procurement and compliance, and building strong public-sector relationships. Prior experience selling IT/software solutions to PSUs is required.
Key Responsibility Areas:
Sales Strategy & Growth
- Own and execute the PSU go-to-market strategy for BitRaser (data erasure/data sanitization).
- Build annual/quarterly business plans with clear targets for pipeline, revenue, and market coverage.
- Track market trends, competitor moves, and customer needs to sharpen positioning, pricing, and value messaging.
Sales Pipeline & Execution
- Drive the complete sales cycle: lead identification → qualification → solution mapping → proposal → negotiation → closure.
- Maintain a strong PSU opportunity pipeline with accurate forecasting and timely deal progression.
- Expand reach across India via direct sales and ecosystem/channel routes.
Relationship Building & Stakeholder Management
- Build and sustain senior relationships across PSUs (IT, procurement, security, admin) and associated agencies.
- Conduct account planning, customer presentations, and executive-level engagement to drive long-term adoption and renewals
Tendering & Bid Management
- Identify relevant tenders/GeM opportunities and lead end-to-end bid management.
- Ensure on-time, accurate, and compliant bid submissions with strong technical-commercial proposals.
- Coordinate cross-functional inputs (product, legal, finance, pre-sales) to deliver competitive and compelling responses.
- Review tender documents, ensure alignment to specifications, and continuously improve win-rate through bid quality and learnings.
Compliance & Government Regulations
- Ensure all sales activities adhere to PSU procurement norms, tender guidelines, and government compliance requirements.
- Maintain complete documentation, audit-ready records, and internal approval workflows.
Partner/Channel Development
- Strengthen existing partners and onboard new PSU-focused partners/SIs as needed.
- Enable partners with product training, collateral, joint plans, and deal support to improve coverage and closures.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, marketing, legal, and technical experts, to develop customized solutions that meet the specific requirements of PSUs entities.
Experience & Expertise:
- A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in selling IT Software’s specifically within the PSUs etc.
- Proven track record of successfully selling IT/software products (cybersecurity solutions/ networking solutions/ data management tools/ ERP systems/ remote infrastructure services/ security solutions/Antivirus) to government clients.
- Strong understanding of PSU procurement processes, compliance standards, and regulatory frameworks. Hands on experience on Gem portal is essential for the role.
- Experience working with leading OEMs or Tier-1 MSP/system integrators is highly desirable.
- Strong technical acumen to understand and articulate the value proposition of complex IT solutions.
- Successful history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and KPIs in a similar role
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree or MBA in Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred).
- Preferred: Experience in Working with PSUs and Govt subsidiaries.
