Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi for an Assistant General Manager (AGM) Industry Engagement. The AGM will engage with diverse stakeholders across industries, build relationships with businesses and government organizations, and drive the adoption and implementation of GS1 standards. Responsibilities include conducting presentations, organizing workshops, developing industry-specific strategies, and supporting the successful alignment of standards with industry needs. Collaboration with internal teams to share insights and drive targeted outreach will be a core part of this role.


Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with industry stakeholders.
  • Strategic planning and business development expertise, including creating and implementing industry-specific strategies.
  • Proficiency in conducting presentations, leading workshops, and educating stakeholders on technical concepts.
  • Familiarity with supply chains, standards implementation, and sectoral dynamics in Retail, Healthcare, Agriculture, or FMCG.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and in working with trade/industry associations is a plus.
  • Relevant educational background in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
