Role Description The AGM/GM – Leasing role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune City, responsible for driving leasing activities for Pragati’s industrial and logistics assets. The role involves identifying and engaging potential tenants, managing the end-to-end leasing cycle, and negotiating commercial terms in line with company objectives. Daily responsibilities include maintaining a strong pipeline of prospects, coordinating property visits, preparing proposals, and collaborating with legal and finance teams to finalize lease documentation. The AGM/GM – Leasing will also monitor market trends, build and sustain relationships with brokers and corporate clients, and provide regular reporting on occupancy, rental yields, and leasing performance. This position requires close coordination with operations and development teams to ensure properties meet tenant expectations and support long-term portfolio growth.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in leasing, business development, or sales within industrial, warehousing, commercial real estate, or logistics sectors.
- Strong skills in client relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation of commercial terms and contracts.
- Ability to conduct market research, analyze data on rentals and demand, and prepare clear leasing reports and presentations.
- Working knowledge of lease documentation, basic legal and financial concepts related to leasing, and familiarity with regulatory considerations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Demonstrated capability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple leasing mandates in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, finance, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or MBA is an advantage.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, office productivity software, and digital platforms for tracking leads and preparing documents.
- Knowledge of the Pune industrial and logistics market or similar micro markets is highly beneficial.
