About the Role
We are looking for a commercial finance leader to drive pricing strategy, risk governance, and success-linked commercial models at Deepak Fertilisers. In this role, you won't just be managing backend reporting—you will be at the negotiation table designing outcome-based models and protecting lifecycle profitability.
Responsibilities
- Lead the finance review and negotiation of complex composite contracts (products + services).
- Structure and govern outcome-based / success-linked commercial models and TCO pricing frameworks.
- Protect margins by identifying risks and embedding mitigation mechanisms (BGs, LDs, buffers).
- Apply strong revenue recognition and accounting judgement (Ind AS / IFRS) for multiple-element arrangements.
- Act as a trusted finance partner to Sales, Operations, and Legal leadership during critical customer negotiations.
Qualifications
CA (Mandatory)
Required Skills
- 10–14 years of proven experience in Commercial Finance, Deal Finance, or Business Finance.
- Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of large, complex B2B deals.
- Exceptional commercial judgement, negotiation skills, and executive presence.
Preferred Skills
- Good to have: Exposure to international cross-border contracts, claims/arbitration, and CLM tools.
