Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Coimbatore for an AGM/DGM Contracts and Procurement role at TNCD. The selected candidate will oversee and manage contracts and procurement processes for ongoing and upcoming projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and negotiating contracts, vendor selection and management, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, managing procurement workflows, controlling project budgets, monitoring supplier performance, and implementing cost-saving initiatives. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Qualifications
- Competence in contract drafting, negotiation, and closing deals
- Experience in procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain operations
- Strong financial and budget management skills
- Knowledge of contracts law and compliance regulations
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Proficiency in procurement software or tools and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Relevant experience in the construction, real estate, or a related field is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree or additional certifications is an advantage
