Role Summary
The Agile Delivery Lead is responsible for governing and enabling the end-to-end delivery of multiple product development initiatives. This role owns agile processes, ensures consistent execution across teams, drives capacity planning, enables transparency through dashboards, and continuously improves delivery effectiveness.
The role acts as a
Project Manager for multiple products, a
governance owner, and a
delivery enabler, ensuring teams are predictable, well-planned, and continuously improving.
Main Responsibilities
- 1. Agile Governance & Process Ownership
Own and govern the agile delivery framework across product teams
Define, review, and continuously improve Scrum and Agile processes
Ensure consistent application of ceremonies, artifacts, and best practices
Adapt processes to suit team maturity and organizational needs
- Multi-initiative project management
Consolidate delivery status across all active products and initiatives
Track sprint progress, milestones, dependencies, and risks
Providing a unified view of delivery health to leadership
Proactively identify slippages, bottlenecks, and cross-team dependencies
Manage project registrations and certifications
- Scrum Master Responsibilities
Act as Scrum Master across multiple products or teams
Facilitate all agile ceremonies -Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews / Demo, Scrum of Scrum, Remove impediments and enable smooth sprint execution, Coach teams on Agile mindset and practices
- Capacity Planning & Optimization
Partner with development teams to perform sprint and release capacity planning
Define rules, processes, and standards for capacity planning
Ensure capacity is published in advance for effective sprint preparation
Analyze historical capacity consumption patterns
Identify opportunities to optimize utilization, reduce waste, and improve predictability
- Dashboards & Delivery Transparency
Design and maintain dashboards for:
Capacity planned vs actual
Sprint commitments vs delivered
Velocity and trend analysis
Key delivery metrics
Enable leadership with real-time, data-driven insights
Ensure dashboards are simple, accurate, and actionable
- Training, Documentation & Continuous Improvement
Conduct regular Agile/Scrum training sessions for teams
Maintain and update delivery documentation, playbooks, and guidelines
Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across teams
Act as a change champion for improved delivery maturity
Experience And Skills
- 5- 6 years of experience in Agile / Scrum delivery across multiple teams
- Proven expertise as Agile Delivery Lead with core Project Manager skills and strong Agile/Scrum experience
- Hands-on experience with capacity planning and velocity analysis
- A solid understanding of the Generative AI project lifecycle is important, DevOps or AI/ML Ops exposure is a bonus.
- Strong analytical skills with dashboarding and reporting
- Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills
- Ownership mindset
- Exposure to tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Power BI (or similar)
Preferred Qualifications
- Scrum Master / Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP)
- Experience managing delivery across distributed teams
