ind.ai is India’s AI identity and agent network — a platform that enables individuals and businesses to claim unique handles, create and run their own teams of AI agents, and operate within a trusted, verified, interoperable ecosystem.
Vakil.ai is an AI-native legal product built as a team of legal agents focused on intake, guidance, drafting, routing, and trusted legal workflows.
Medicly.ai is an AI-native healthcare platform built as a team of care and clinic agents focused on intake, triage, records, follow-up, and clinic-facing workflows.
I’m hiring a full-time founding engineer to help build ind.ai as the core agent platform, and also support products like Vakil.ai and Medicly.ai that are built on top of it.
A lot of the current product has been vibe coded to move fast. Now I need someone who can help turn that into a serious, scalable backend and agent platform.
This is not a generic dev role.
You would be helping build things like:
- core backend systems, APIs, databases, auth, and deployment
- agent identity, handles, and account architecture
- multi-agent orchestration, routing, and workflows
- tool use, memory, permissions, and approvals
- tenant/business-specific agent configuration
- observability, reliability, and production systems for agent workflows
- guardrails and escalation layers for high-trust products in legal and healthcare
I’m looking for someone strong in:
- TypeScript / Node.js
- backend architecture, APIs, databases, auth, deployment
- AI agents, prompting, tool use, memory, orchestration, workflows
- productionising LLM-powered / agent-powered products
- working fast with Cursor / Claude Code
- ideally some familiarity with OpenClaw and other open-source agent frameworks
Big plus if you’ve worked on high-trust products in legal, healthcare, fintech, identity, or similar domains.
You’d be helping build core systems, not just features.
This role is best for someone who likes taking early, messy systems and turning them into clean architecture, reliable infrastructure, and real products.
