Role Description
A Healthcare Agency Booker is responsible for coordinating and booking healthcare professionals such as Healthcare Assistants (HCA), Support Workers, and Nurses to cover shifts at hospitals, care homes, and healthcare facilities. The role involves managing staff availability, filling urgent shifts, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and healthcare workers.
Qualifications
- Booking HCAs, Support Workers, and Nurses for shifts in care homes, hospitals, and supported living services.
- Managing last-minute and emergency shift requests from healthcare clients.
- Contacting available candidates via phone, WhatsApp, SMS, or booking systems.
- Updating staff availability and shift schedules in the agency booking system.
- Ensuring all workers booked for shifts have valid compliance documents (DBS, Right to Work, Training, etc.).
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients and healthcare workers.
- Handling night shift bookings and shift changes.
- Coordinating with the compliance and recruitment team to ensure staff are ready for work.
- Recording and updating shift details in the CRM or scheduling software.
