Role Overview : The Senior Manager/Supervisor, Search is accountable for driving search strategy, optimization and execution across all in-house platforms and works to ensure the highest level of quality work, strategic thinking, and collaboration with both internal and external partners for a select group of accounts. Working in close collaboration with media strategy and activation leads, this role leads and drives all aspects of the campaign life cycle as it pertains to paid search including the oversight of day-to-day across active campaigns. In addition, the Senior Manager/Supervisor, Paid Search will support agency education on the capabilities within these platforms through ongoing meeting facilitation, note taking, and POV creation.

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot issues/concerns and work with online partners to resolve as needed
- Proactively communicate with client and internal teams; prepare call agendas, and follow up with call recaps
- Develop keyword lists, set budget levels, write ad creatives, test landing page messaging, landing page layout, audience segmentation, placements, networks, and 3rd-party tools
- Perform in-platform maintenance and optimizations
- Oversee regular budget pacing and monitoring for live campaigns to ensure accurate spend delivery, along with any recommendations on strategic test opportunities
- Produce and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly campaign reports measuring performance and effectiveness of search campaigns
- Maintain quality control while ensuring projects and campaigns are executed completely, correctly, accurately, and efficiently for clients
- Ensure tactics and vendors utilized are GDPR compliant and ensure all internal processes and procedures are followed, including those specific to certain clients based on their own contractual agreements
- Ensures Search team is accurately tracking all financial processes in a timely manner
- Determine tracking and buying guidelines and special opportunities for specific accounts
- Exhibit the ability to anticipate and solve problems
- Own and foster growth in the relationships with agency partners, where applicable
- Personal drive to onboard new clients with excellence by embodying our “Be One Team” value and collaborating with all internal teams and stakeholders throughout the onboarding process
- Translate marketing goals and brand positioning into viable media communication strategies and ideas across paid search landscape
- Drive high-value customers to interact with our clients’ products and services
- Discover and deliver new and innovative solutions to executing paid search campaigns based on specific client business issues and challenges
- Work closely with account and media leads to ensure strong senior client relationships on select group of accounts
- Support the development and delivery of agency RFP responses and pitches, as applicable
- Keep pace with search engine and PPC industry trends and developments
- Specialize in topics that require cross-team collaboration; provide agency guidance/POV development as applicable
- Core understanding and knowledge across digital media landscape and where
- Participate and contribute to agency thought leadership initiative, as applicable
- For select group of accounts, direct line management, mentoring, and coaching of team ensuring best practices are shared and maintained
- Manage workflow of assigned accounts by ensuring tasks are properly delegated across relevant team members
- Manage relationships with search engine partners
- Ensure process and activation best practices are used across select group of accounts
- Mentors Coordinator, Associate and Manager level team members regarding SEM best practices and internal processes
- Clear Communication: The ability to translate project status into concise updates for both internal leadership and external clients.

Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in a digital marketing environment, agency and/or client experience
- 5+ years experience with paid search platforms
- 2+ years managing a team of direct reports
