Role Description
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Agency Manager for our Kolkata location. The Agency Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of insurance agency sales, recruit and train agents, and develop strategic initiatives to achieve set targets. This role involves planning and executing sales strategies, monitoring team performance, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. The Agency Manager will also focus on driving business growth within the assigned territory and providing guidance to the team to improve productivity.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in sales, team management, and business development
- Strong recruitment and training skills for building and leading high-performing teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and sales tracking tools
- Ability to strategize, plan, and execute sales campaigns effectively
- Knowledge of the insurance sector, especially health insurance, will be an added advantage
- Proven experience in a similar managerial role in the financial or insurance sector
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus
