About the role

Ageas Life is looking for an Actuarial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the actuarial function in the delivery of key actuarial services, including reserving, capital management, and product pricing. You will work closely with the Actuarial team and other stakeholders to provide accurate and timely analysis to support business decision making. Key responsibilities include: - Assist with the production of quarterly and annual actuarial reports - Support the delivery of key actuarial projects, such as model developments and enhancements - Contribute to the implementation of Solvency II reporting requirements - Undertake research and analysis to support the business - Provide ad-hoc support and analysis as required The ideal candidate will have: - A degree in a numerate discipline, such as Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or Statistics - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent attention to detail - Good communication and stakeholder management skills - Experience in a similar actuarial or financial services role would be an advantage - Proficiency in Excel and VBA would be highly desirable - Progress towards an actuarial qualification (e.g. FIA, CERA) would be an advantage
