Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate incoming quotation requests in the quotation system.
- Prepare quotations for Pump AM requests such as spare parts, SPIR, and upgrades.
- Review and analyze technical specifications (drawings, material specs, history, etc.).
- Prepare proposals in a fast-paced environment, managing pricing components and technical reviews.
- Determine cost and sales price using internal tools, systems, technical insight, and supplier quotes.
- Explore alternate solutions in collaboration with cross‑functional teams (Sales, Engineering, Planning).
- Engage with customers, Sales, and Operations on technical issues and attend queries.
- Ensure SAP approval before receiving orders.
- Maintain and update proposal logs in a timely manner.
- Support off‑site customer project presentations and kickoff meetings.
Requirements:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- 1–2 years of experience in Commercial Operations or internal quoting roles within an industrial equipment manufacturer (Pumps OR Valves) Mandatory
- Knowledge of centrifugal pumps, rotating equipment, metallurgy, material specifications, inventory control, and basic sales cycle concepts is an added advantage.
- Strong proficiency in IT tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and ERP systems.
- Strong problem‑solving ability, with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively across international teams.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and perform well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
