Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Professor in Aviation Department to join our dynamic faculty team. The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering and possess a strong commitment to teaching, academic research, and professional development. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, mentoring students, and contributing to the department’s academic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate courses in Aviation Department such as Aerodynamics, Propulsion Systems, Aircraft Structures, Flight Mechanics, etc.
- Develop curriculum, prepare lesson plans, and deliver engaging classroom and laboratory sessions.
- Supervise student projects, internships, and research activities.
- Engage students and publish in journals/conferences.
- Collaborate with faculty on interdisciplinary projects and departmental initiatives.
- Participate in academic advising and mentoring of students.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and accreditation processes of the department.
- Organize workshops, seminars, guest lectures, and industrial visits.
- Support the institution in academic and administrative functions as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Essential: Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from a recognized university with a strong academic record.
- Desirable: Enrollment in or completion of Ph.D. in a related field.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for teaching and innovation in pedagogy.
- Familiarity with industry practices and current developments in Aviation
Experience:
Freshers with exceptional academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Prior teaching or research experience in an academic institution will be an advantage.
