Aereo is actively looking for self-driven and process-oriented individuals who would be interested in joining team Aereo in this fascinating growth journey and be an early contributor to the drone ecosystem of the country which is growing at a very exciting and fast pace. The role pertains to the Platform Team in Aereo whose charter is to build and maintain our cloud-based enterprise SaaS platform, Aereo Cloud. Aereo Cloud is a powerful platform which enables organizations to store, manage, visualize and analyze their drone-based geospatial data at PB-scale and generate critical and actionable business insights based on this data. Position: QA Intern – Aereo Cloud Location: Bangalore Type: Internship (3 months) About Us We're the crew behind Aereo Cloud, platform that turns drone data into actionable mining insights. Think of us as the digital cartographers for the mining world—only cooler (and safer 😉). What You'll Do Dive Deep into the Product: Learn every nook, cranny, and layer of our platform—ortho, DEMs, slope maps, you name it. Craft Test Cases: Design exhaustive, edge-case-crushing test plans that cover UI flows, data uploads, 3D analyses, reporting, and more. Build Test Data Sets: Assemble real-world and synthetic datasets (think weird DEMs or funky coordinate systems) to stress-test features. Manual Testing Marathon: Click, zoom, pan, draw polygons, run analytics—then repeat. Your mission is to uncover bugs before anyone else does. Document Everything: Log steps, expected vs. actual results, screenshots, and "WTF happened?" moments in our tracking tool. Collaborate & Communicate: Pair up with devs and product peeps to reproduce issues, suggest improvements, and celebrate every 🎉 bug squash. Quality Advocate: Help refine requirements, share patterns you spot, and make our release checklists as bulletproof as a miner's helmet. What You Bring Currently pursuing a degree in CS, GIS, Engineering, or equivalent—bonus points for mining/geospatial courses. Obsessive attention to detail (you spot a pixel off by one millimeter). Comfortable writing clear, concise test cases and docs (no TL;DRs). Curious mindset: you question everything—"Why does this layer render funky at high zoom?" Good communication skills; you can explain bugs in plain English (and maybe a GIF or two). A dash of humor and the ability to keep it professional—because QA can be fun, right?
