Product development **QA lead**
place Mumbai access\_time Full-time We are seeking a dynamic and motivated QA Lead to oversee our QA team across multiple product lines.
As the QA Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of our products through effective Test Management activities, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
**Responsibilities**
1. Team Leadership:
* Lead and manage a QA team working on multiple products.
* Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the QA team.
* Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to QA team members.
2. Test Management:
* Conduct Test Case Reviews, Test Case Management, Test Planning, and Test Strategy.
* Effectively manage Defect Management and prioritize issues for resolution.
* Define testing scope and ensure comprehensive coverage for each product release.
* Engage in Sprint Planning and Story grooming activities.
3. Testing Expertise:
* Demonstrate proficiency in Functional Testing, Regression Testing, API Testing, and UAT.
* Possess knowledge of Non-Functional testing methodologies.
* Dive deep into product functionalities to identify and address defects at both product and design levels.
4. Collaboration:
* Work closely with Development and Product Teams to understand feature expectations and implementation details.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QA processes seamlessly into the development lifecycle.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of quality goals.
5. Process Improvement:
* Motivate and drive the implementation of processes in Manual Testing.
* Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes.
6. Automation Testing
* Possess experience in Automation Testing using tools such as Selenium.
* Familiarity with programming languages, particularly Java.
* Experience in API Automation Testing.
7. Agile Processes:
* Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
* Proficient in using JIRA for project management and issue tracking.
* Knowledge of version control systems (Git, Bitbucket) and CI/CD processes.
Requirements:
* 6 to 8 years of experience in managing QA teams across multiple products.
* Strong expertise in Test Case Reviews, Test Case Management, Test Planning, Test Strategy, and Defect Management.
* In-depth knowledge of Functional Testing, Regression Testing, API Testing, and UAT. Familiarity with Non-Functional testing.
* Proficient in Agile Processes, Scrum, and JIRA.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with Development and Product Teams.
* Motivated to enhance Manual Testing processes and mentor team members.
* Experience in Automation Testing with Selenium, Java, Git, Bitbucket, CI/CD processes, and API Testing.
* Preferred: Experience working in startup environment.
