About the role
We are seeking flexible, enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Ground Operations team at Dublin Airport as Ground Handling Agents. This multifaceted role combines responsibilities from both ramp and baggage hall operations, ensuring the safe, smooth, and efficient handling of aircraft, baggage, and equipment. This is a shift-based position that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and public holidays. Flexibility is crucial in the role as Ramp/Bag Hall operations is fast-paced. Comprehensive training will be provided to help you excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Adhere to strict health, safety, and security protocols.
Scanning of baggage and transfer of baggage to and from the aircraft
Loading and unloading of aircraft
Operate aircraft equipment safely and efficiently e.g. bagnalls, belt loaders
Drive baggage between the airport terminal and the aircraft
Perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting baggage and pulling baggage carts.
Collaborate effectively with team members to meet operational demands.
Work efficiently under pressure to tight deadlines in a busy airport environment.
Maintain operational safety standards in all weather conditions.
Essential Requirements
Minimum age of 18.
Successful completion of a 5-year security background check and Garda Vetting process.
Verifiable references.
Full EU driving license.
Eligible to live and work in the EU.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Flexible, self-motivated, and enthusiastic with a strong commitment to teamwork.
Physically fit and able to pass a medical assessment.
Ability to work varied shifts across a 24/7 operation, including weekends and public holidays.
Awareness of security, health, and safety requirements in a ground handling environment.
