Role & Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain AEM backend components including OSGi services, Sling servlets, Sling Models, and custom workflows. Implement and optimise repository structures, indexing and content modelling in JCR to improve performance and scalability. Integrate AEM with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, authentication protocols, and message-based integrations. Author and maintain build and deployment artefacts (Maven packages), enforce CI/CD practices, and support automated deployments to author/publish environments. Troubleshoot production issues, conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests (JUnit/Mockito), and maintain observability and logging for platform health. Collaborate with front-end, UX, QA and DevOps teams to implement caching, Dispatcher rules, CDN strategies and secure delivery patterns.
