Senior AEM Frontend Developer
Job Location: Chennai, Bangalore, Gurgaon, Hyderabad (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain custom AEM components and templates using JavaScript, CSS/SASS, and HTML5.
- Develop and optimize Edge Delivery Services (EDS) pages using AEM Sites Universal Editor, following document-based and block-based authoring patterns.
- Integrate Adobe Commerce (Magento) APIs (REST/GraphQL) with AEM and EDS for product, cart, checkout, and customer experiences.
- Collaborate with backend and commerce teams to integrate headless commerce capabilities with content-driven experiences.
- Build and customize Universal Editor–compatible blocks and components, including commerce-related blocks (PLP, PDP, cart, promotions).
- Ensure secure and performant API consumption with proper caching and edge optimization
- Implement and enhance responsive frontend design across devices and browsers, with a performance-first mindset.
- Collaborate with backend AEM developers to ensure smooth integration with content models, APIs, and services.
- Build and customize Universal Editor-compatible components, blocks, and authoring experiences.
- Integrate AEM and EDS with third-party APIs and frontend frameworks such as JavaScript, React.js or Vue.js (as applicable).
- Optimize frontend code for Core Web Vitals, SEO, accessibility (WCAG), and edge performance.
- Work with UX teams to convert wireframes and mockups into pixel-perfect AEM and EDS experiences.
- Support content authors and marketing teams with AEM Sites and Universal Editor authoring workflows.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical design discussions.
- Ensure adherence to AEM, Edge Delivery, and frontend best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across AEM authoring, Universal Editor, and Edge-published content.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of frontend development experience with strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript (ES6+).
- 3+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.4 or later / AEMaaCS).
- Strong hands-on experience with AEM Sites component development, templates, and client libraries.
- Practical experience with Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS) and AEM Sites Universal Editor.
- Solid understanding of HTL (Sightly), AEM clientlibs, and content authoring best practices.
- Experience building block-based, document-driven authoring solutions using Universal Editor.
- Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive web design.
- Experience with Git, JIRA, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Node.js, NPM/Yarn, Webpack/Vite.
- Experience working with design systems and reusable component libraries.
- Good understanding of SEO, Core Web Vitals, and WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
