Description
· Assist electricians by performing tasks under the direct supervision of an electrician actually installing the work and handling the bulk of materials. The employee should keep all materials, tools, and equipment in an orderly fashion and keep the work area clean at all times, demonstrating safe work habits and proper care of tools and equipment. This role feeds into the AETC 4-year apprenticeship program. If you are not interested in the apprenticeship program, please apply for the standard Electrical Assistant position.
Responsibilities
· Positively identify colors of wires.
· Practices and comprehends safe work procedures as outlined in Company Safety Policy Handbook, Haz-Com Policy, and Lockout/Tagout Policy.
Working Conditions
· Mostly outdoor year-around in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
· Able to work 8 to 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, overtime as required and night shifts.
