About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for providing incident management and support for the incident response process, ensuring timely resolution of incidents. You will be part of the Incident Management team and will work closely with other teams to ensure the reliability and availability of our platform. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring our platform and systems for potential issues and incidents
- Triaging and investigating incidents, determining root causes, and coordinating with relevant teams for resolution
- Maintaining and improving incident management processes and tooling
- Providing on-call support for critical incidents and ensuring timely escalation and communication
- Analyzing incident data, identifying trends, and proposing improvements to increase platform reliability
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our incident management practices
We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
- Strong background in incident management and platform monitoring
- Proficient in using monitoring and incident management tools (e.g., PagerDuty, Datadog, Grafana)
- Good understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Familiarity with ITIL or other incident management frameworks is a plus
