Head of Security

If so, we'd love to hear from you. At Adyen, we're looking for an experienced and visionary Head of Security to drive and own our global security strategy. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading a team of talented security professionals to protect our business, employees, and customers from cyber threats. You'll work closely with key stakeholders across the organization to design and implement security controls, ensure compliance, and drive a security-first mindset. Responsibilities: - Lead the development and execution of Adyen's global security strategy and roadmap - Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing security team to deliver on key initiatives - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to assess and mitigate security risks - Drive security awareness and a culture of security excellence throughout the organization - Ensure Adyen's security posture aligns with industry best practices and applicable regulations - Represent Adyen's security practices and posture to customers, partners, and external stakeholders Requirements: - 10+ years of experience in information security, with a strong track record of success in leading security teams - Proven ability to design and implement comprehensive security programs that protect against cyber threats - Deep understanding of security frameworks, standards, and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS) - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences - Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams - Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is preferred - Fluency in English is required, knowledge of additional languages is a plus
