Work with the client engagement teams across the network to support global engagements from the KSDC offices, while ensuring the highest quality of deliverables and innovative solutioning, to meet and exceed Client requirements.

 Responsibilities

  • Assess a company’s working capital performance leveraging their balance sheet and P&L to calculate working capital KPIs
  • Benchmark a company against competitors using public and proprietary information, using the output to draw conclusions on a company’s relative performance;
  • Conduct analytics on ‘transactional data’ such as customer / supplier invoices, POs / Sales Orders, goods receipt / issues, material movement data and working capital financing to identify data insights on root cause drivers of working capital using analytical tools;
  • Understand key business processes and facilitate sessions on key processes driving working capital with clients to identify opportunities, such as setting contractual terms, collections, procurement, purchasing and supply chain
  • Perform financial analysis of opportunities for working capital reduction, within the context of commercial requirements of the business;
  • Conduct assessment of operational and management teams within an organisation, identifying skill gaps and training needs;
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of project work packages, delivering time-critical services to satisfy client deadlines;
  • Perform project management activities, including working with and leading teams through delivery of assignments with clear communication and coordination across stakeholders;
  • Identify and assess risks which could affect project delivery, proactively highlighting them to key stakeholders;
  • Coach and lead junior team members in project delivery;
  • Prepare pitch decks and proposal presentations covering project scope and approaches, deliverables, and benefits; and
  • Be responsible for internal initiatives of the Business Unit and contribute to our culture of continuous improvement, including the upskilling of other team members.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in Supply Chain, Credit Management/Receivables and Procurement roles, or Working Capital consulting experience in the UK or continental Europe;
  • Experience in engagements to improve supply chain management, procurement, buying, collections management, inventory reduction or general working capital optimisation;
  • Good end-to-end understanding of flows of goods and services, information and money and how different functions cooperate internally and externally;
  • Sound financial analysis skills (collecting, manipulating and analysing financial and non-financial data), including strong use of Microsoft Excel;
  • Strong commercial awareness and business analysis skills;
  • A solid understanding of operational business drivers and critical thinking to enable the "So what" analysis;
  • A solid understanding of the components of working capital and influencing levers;
  • Report writing skills, including use of Microsoft PowerPoint;
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation & excellent communication skills (Oral and Written to a high business English standard);
  • Strong project management, organisational and project delivery skills;
  • Demonstrated experience utilising analytics and visualisation tools including but not limited to Alteryx, Tableau and Power BI (any certifications would be preferable e.g. Alteryx Core and Alteryx Advanced);
  • Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively across teams in a high-performance culture;
  • Ability to work effectively in a globally dispersed team environment; and
  • Working knowledge and understanding of current AI technology tools would be preferable.

Education

  • Chartered Accountant or MBA or any other equivalent qualified professional preferred
