We are looking for someone like that who can
Leverage your trade capture expertise in a multiproduct environment to help design, run, and enhance our Middle Office model.
Support all aspects of Advisory trade capture operations, including:
Reviewing, validating, and booking trades across Equities, Options, and US Fixed Income
Allocations, confirmations, and comparisons, including timely trade corrections and amendments
Daily controls & reconciliations (positions, cash, ledgers) with rigorous exception management and fail control
Regulatory adherence and reporting for TRACE, MSRB, and Best Execution standards, maintaining robust evidence for audits
Tracking and reporting of lifecycle exceptions and operational metrics; clear, timely escalation of issues
Navigating standardized Middle Office workflows, ensuring alignment with operating procedures and control checkpoints
Ensuring adherence to applicable risk and control frameworks, with disciplined documentation and signoffs
Work within both Change the Bank and Run the Bank environments, driving continuous enhancement by:
Identifying opportunities to streamline legacy processes, initiate automation, and expand digital capabilities
Contributing to design, testing, and implementation of process improvements and vendor solutions (e.g., order/portfolio platforms such as Vestmark or similar)
Partnering with Trading, Advisory Programs, Technology, and field stakeholders to reduce risk and improve client outcomes

The Advisory Trade Operations team coordinates daily activities across the fronttoback trade lifecycle in the Middle Office. We support the Wealth Management and Capital Markets businesses in the United States and are located in Mumbai, India. UBS is committed to modernizing its operating capabilities—building a resilient, efficient model grounded in strong control frameworks, digital tooling, and a clientfirst mindset.
Your expertise
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) Or Equivalent Work Experience
1–6 years in Middle Office / Trade Support / Trade Capture, with handson coverage of Equities, Options, and US Fixed Income
Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle (order initiation → allocation/confirmation → settlement), and downstream impacts
Working knowledge of US fixed income regulation: TRACE, MSRB, and Best Execution; familiarity with broader FINRA/SEC frameworks is a plus
Proven experience in controls and reconciliations, break resolution, exception handling, and fail control in highvolume settings
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel (pivots, lookups; VBA a plus); comfort with OMS/booking systems and vendor platforms (e.g., Vestmark or similar)
Very strong English communication skills, with clear written documentation and concise verbal updates across time zones
Willing to work US hours and be onsite in Mumbai
