Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Omni Sports Advisor based in Gurugram. The Omni Sports Advisor will engage with customers to understand their sporting needs, provide expert advice on our products, and assist with purchases. Responsibilities include maintaining the layout and cleanliness of the store, managing inventory, ensuring accurate product displays, and organizing in-store sports activities. The role involves fostering a community of sports enthusiasts and delivering an excellent customer experience aligned with Decathlon’s mission.
Qualifications
- Customer service and interpersonal skills to engage with customers effectively
- Passion for sports and ability to provide expert advice on sports and related products
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and proven ability to maintain visual merchandising standards
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and store operations
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic retail environment, including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
- A genuine commitment to Decathlon's values and purpose of making sports accessible to all
- Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer-facing roles is an advantage
