Role Details
Job Title: Head of Ad Sales Manager / Digital Ad Sales Manager & Advertiser Onboarding Lead
Department: Sales / Revenue / Advertiser Success
Location: Work From Home (First 3–6 Months) → Bengaluru Hybrid
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role
You will be responsible for driving advertiser revenue and onboarding brands onto the AdX Reels platform. This role combines digital ad sales with advertiser onboarding, ensuring brands not only sign contracts but also successfully launch campaigns and achieve strong early performance.
You will work closely with internal strategy, creator, content, performance, and operations teams to deliver high-impact campaigns across reels, video, influencer, and digital advertising inventory.
Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue & Sales Ownership
- Drive revenue through reel-based video, display, influencer, and integrated digital advertising solutions
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets with consistent deal closures
- Identify, pitch, negotiate, and close advertising partnerships with brands and agencies
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and accurate revenue forecasts
- Develop strategic partnerships for long-term advertiser growth
Advertiser Onboarding & Activation
- Manage advertiser onboarding from contract signing to first live campaign
- Educate advertisers on platform setup, targeting, creatives, tracking, and reporting
- Create onboarding journeys, checklists, launch guides, and advertiser success workflows
- Ensure advertisers understand platform policies, compliance, and brand safety standards
- Monitor initial campaign performance and guide advertisers with optimization recommendations
Client Strategy & Campaign Solutions
- Understand client business goals and convert them into branding and performance-driven campaign strategies
- Build innovative campaign ideas using creators, reels, influencer collaborations, and performance media
- Prepare pitch decks, media plans, campaign proposals, and advertiser presentations
- Recommend solutions tailored to client KPIs and marketing objectives
Relationship & Account Management
- Build long-term relationships with brands, agencies, and key decision-makers
- Act as a trusted advisor to advertisers for repeat business and upsell opportunities
- Handle objections professionally and close deals using value-based sales approaches
- Maintain high advertiser satisfaction and retention rates
Campaign Collaboration & Execution
- Collaborate with internal teams including strategy, creator partnerships, content, performance marketing, and operations
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with KPIs
- Share campaign insights and recommendations to improve advertiser ROI
- Support campaign troubleshooting and advertiser communication during active campaigns
Market & Industry Intelligence
- Stay updated on digital advertising trends, reels ecosystems, creator economy trends, and ad-tech innovations
- Identify new monetization opportunities and scalable advertising formats
- Analyze campaign performance data to improve sales strategies and advertiser outcomes
- Monitor competitor platforms, pricing models, and emerging market opportunities
Success Metrics (First 6 Months)
- Revenue closed and monthly sales targets achieved
- Number of active advertisers onboarded and activated
- Reduced time-to-first-campaign for advertisers
- Advertiser retention and repeat spend growth
- Increase in average deal size and upsell revenue
- Client satisfaction and campaign performance benchmarks achieved
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- 3–8+ years of experience in digital ad sales, media sales, ad-tech, or agency sales
- Proven track record of selling branding and performance-driven campaigns
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management skills
- Ability to sell integrated digital solutions including reels, video, influencer campaigns, paid media, and branded content
- Strong understanding of digital advertising fundamentals including targeting, creatives, attribution, tracking, and optimization
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign metrics and advertiser performance data
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with reels, short-video platforms, influencer marketing, or creator-led advertising
- Familiarity with ad-tech and reporting tools
- Experience managing agency relationships and enterprise brand accounts
- Exposure to Google Ads, Meta Ads, programmatic advertising, video advertising, or DSP platforms
- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM
